In this letter to BAYER, HOECHST reveals some of Dr. Vetter's cruel tests with 'Nitroakridin 3582', the highly toxic chemical patented as a potential "chemotherapy drug" on concentration camp inmates used as "human guinea pigs". These "patients" were artificially infected with typhoid and other deadly microorganisms, before the IG FARBEN drug was given.
Dr. Vetter's experiments with '3582' cost the lives of 30% of the "patients" – according to HOECHST a general proof of the effectiveness of 'Acridine'. HOECHST therefore regrets that Dr. Vetter is not able to continue his deadly human experiments due to the lack of experimental material.
