In this letter, BAYER writes to Dr. Mertens of the "Department of Tropical Medicine" (W II) about the use of 'Methylene blue' in typhus experiments. Obviously, Dr. Mertens had previously asked BAYER to supply Dr. Mrugowsky, Chief of Hygiene Institute of the Waffen-SS, and other concentration camp doctors with this harmful substance.
